OSU ScholarDollars
Login to OSU ScholarDollars
Students must be admitted to OSU and have an active ONID account to be able to log into OSU ScholarDollars. If you were recently admitted make sure to activate your ONID account.
STEP 1: ScholarDollars Login Page
Go to the OSU ScholarDollars main page and click on "Log In"
STEP 2: ONID Login Page
Enter your ONID credentials
If the login was successful, you will reach the ScholarshipUniverse Welcome Page for first-time users.
If the login was successful, and you've logged in before, you will see your dashboard.
If the login was unsuccessful, please refer to the following resources:
- Contact OSU-IS if there are problems with your ONID account.
- Contact the Scholarship Office if there are problems accessing ScholarDollars.
Applying for Scholarships
Your First Visit
The first time you log into ScholarDollars, you will see a welcome page. Once you click "I'm Ready" you will fill out some additional information to set up your profile. To enter the student portal, click “I'm Ready!”
The ScholarDollars dashboard will be your home page. It contains helpful information related to all scholarships that you qualify for.
Begin the Application Process
You can start entering your information in one of two ways.
Option 1:
Click the gray banner that states “You still have outstanding questions that may qualify you for more opportunities! Click here to continue answering more matching questions.”
Option 2:
Click the "Questions" icon in the left navigation menu
Update Profile Questions to Identify Potential Scholarships
If you are new to the system, you may be prompted to add profile information when you visit the "Questions" section. These questions help the ScholarDollars system know what scholarship opportunities you may be eligible for.
- Fill out introductory information and choose to "Skip" or "Continue" to answer available questions.
- You may choose to not answer individual questions by selecting "N/A."
- Some questions may have pre-populated answers for you. Any pre-populated answers are directly linked to university records and cannot be edited within the ScholarDollars system.
If you are returning to the system, you can update your existing answers or add new information as long as they are not answers that come directly from your OSU student record.
- Click the “Answer More Questions” tile and answer any presented questions to the best of your ability.
- You may use the SKIP button and come back to the questions at a later time.
- You may edit any of your answers by choosing the pencil icon on a desktop or selecting the "Edit" button on mobile devices.
- Some questions may have pre-populated answers for you. Any pre-populated answers are directly linked from your OSU student record and cannot be edited within the ScholarDollars system. If you click the pencil icon on a desktop or the edit button on a mobile device for any pre-populated answers, you will be presented a blank page.
Accessing OSU Applications
Once you have completed answering questions in the Questions section, you can access the applications that you may be eligible to fill out.
Click "Applications" located on the left side of your screen
When you reach the applications page you will see a list of applications that you are eligible to fill out.
There will be three tabs that categorize your applications:
- Ready to Start: These are applications that you may be eligible to fill out.
- In Progress: These are application that you have started, but have not finished. Pressing “Continue” will save the answers you have provided even if you do not see a Save button.
- Submitted: These are applications that you have submitted.
Once an application is submitted you cannot edit the responses.
Searching Scholarship Matches
Click "Scholarships" located on the left side of your screen
You will be presented with a list of scholarships that you matched to. This page defaults to showing your OSU scholarships first.
You can also search the OSU scholarships or external third-party scholarships by sorting or filtering your scholarships:
Sorting Your Scholarships:
Click the dropdown menu with sort options is located on the top right side of your screen.
Filtering Your Scholarships:
Click “Filter” (next to the sorting dropdown menu) located on the top right side of your screen
My Docs Section and Submitted Documents
The My Documents section is a repository for any submitted documents you may have uploaded during the application process. These documents are for scholarship purposes only.
Your FAFSA and other financial aid related documents should not be uploaded here. For more information about where your financial aid documents should be turned in, please contact the OSU Financial Aid Office at 541-737-2241 or [email protected].
The "My Docs" menu option is located on the left sidebar (shown below).
My Docs will display any documents submitted.
Feedback
The Feedback section provides comments to ScholarshipUniverse, the platform that hosts OSU ScholarDollars.
Clicking "Feedback" will pop up a window to submit comments about the platform.
