OSU's colleges and departments offer donor-funded scholarship opportunities to students who are currently enrolled, or plan to enroll (incoming freshmen or new transfers), in an academic program within their college or department. OSU's colleges and departments typically award over $10 million dollars in donor-funded scholarships to thousands of students each year!
Most colleges and departments accept applications for these scholarship awards through OSU's scholarship management system, OSU ScholarDollars. ScholarDollars begins accepting applications on November 1st each year. Most scholarships have an application deadline on or after February 15th, but individual deadlines may vary. Submit your application before February 15th to maximize your scholarship opportunities!
Students received nearly $300,000 in financial support from the College of Agricultural Sciences this year, and that’s not including the additional funds our students received from our departments.
The College of Business offers numerous scholarships to new and continuing students.
The College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences offers a number of scholarships that recognize undergraduates for their accomplishments and achievements. We encourage students to apply to all scholarships for which they meet the criteria.
The College of Education offers scholarships and fellowships to students who have completed a program application and will be admitted by fall term.
As a new first-year student, you are automatically considered for all available scholarships when you complete the scholarship application included with the undergraduate admission materials. All OSU engineering programs offer scholarship support through generous donations from alumni and industry sponsors.
The College of Forestry offers a wide range of scholarships to new and continuing students. Through the generosity of our donors, the College of Forestry awards nearly $500,000 in undergraduate scholarships annually. Awards range from $1,000 - $9,000.
The College of Liberal Arts awards many student scholarships each year. Scholarships within specific majors within the College often are also available.
The College of Pharmacy offers several scholarships for students admitted to the program, as well as opportunities to participate in hands-on research that are funded by scholarship dollars.
The College of Health offers 60+ scholarships that recognize students enrolled in COH majors for their accomplishments and achievements.
Last year, the College of Science awarded more than 275 students over $700,000 in scholarships at Oregon State. Scholarships and awards are available for College of Science students thanks to the generous support from alumni and friends of the College. All students are encouraged to apply for scholarships.
The College of Veterinary Medicine offers 100+ scholarships to current DVM students, including a wide range of community-based scholarships.
