Oregon State University offers a variety of scholarships for incoming students. The following scholarships are for students applying for admission to the Summer 2020 or Fall 2020 terms only. Ecampus (distance/online) and international students are not eligible to receive the scholarships listed below. All scholarships are offered subject to the availability of funding.

Incoming students also are eligible to apply for scholarships offered by their college and department through OSU ScholarDollars after they have been admitted to OSU and set up their ONID account.  

Freshman – Oregon resident

Currently attending high school or have graduated from high school and have 0 to 23 quarter (0 to 11 semester) graded, transferable college credits earned from a regionally-accredited college or university while attending high school. Must be an Oregon resident as determined by the OSU Office of Admissions. 

 

Transfer – Oregon resident

Successfully completed a minimum of 24 quarter (12 semester) graded, transferable credits from a regionally-accredited college or university. Must be an Oregon resident as determined by the OSU Office of Admissions. 

 

Freshman – Non-resident

Currently attending high school or have graduated from high school and have 0 to 23 quarter (0 to 11 semester) graded, transferable college credits earned from a regionally-accredited college or university while attending high school. A resident of any U.S. state other than Oregon.

 

Transfer – Non-resident

Successfully completed a minimum of 24 quarter (12 semester) graded, transferable credits from a regionally-accredited college or university. A resident of any U.S. state other than Oregon. 

 


2021-2022 Scholarships for New OSU Students

For the 2021-2022 academic year, the majority of Oregon State University’s scholarships for newly-admitted freshmen and transfer students will be awarded automatically based on a holistic review of your application for admission.
