The following scholarships are for Oregon resident transfer students applying for the Summer 2020 or Fall 2020 terms. Your application for admission must be received by OSU by February 1, 2020 and all supporting documentation must be received by OSU by February 14, 2020. Students who apply after February 1st will be considered for scholarships on a funds-available basis. (Please visit 2021-2022 Scholarships for New OSU Students for more information about OSU's scholarship opportunities for Fall 2021 admits.) Ecampus (distance/online) and international students are not eligible for these scholarships. All scholarships are offered subject to the availability of funding.
Oregon resident transfer students who have completed at least 24 transferrable quarter credits (12 semester credits) from a regionally accredited institution and have a 3.75 cumulative transfer GPA or higher are automatically considered for a $2,000 (renewable annually) Finley Academic Excellence Scholarship.
OSU's colleges and departments offer donor-funded scholarship opportunities to students who are currently enrolled, or plan to enroll (incoming freshmen or transfer students), in an academic program within their college or department. OSU's colleges and departments typically award over $10 million dollars in donor-funded scholarships to thousands of students each year!
Most colleges and departments accept applications for these scholarship awards through OSU's scholarship management system, OSU ScholarDollars. ScholarDollars begins accepting applications on November 1st each year. Most scholarships have an application deadline on or after February 1st, but individual deadlines may vary. Submit your application before February 1st to maximize your scholarship opportunities!
The OSU Scholarship Office evaluates any third-party scholarship information submitted to our office for validity, legitimacy, and applicability to OSU students. Scholarships are submitted from local, state, national, and international organizations and are not specifically affiliated with OSU. Students can learn more about third-party scholarships through OSU ScholarDollars.
