OSU Colleges and Departments offer donor-funded scholarship opportunities to students who are currently enrolled, or plan to enroll (incoming freshman), in a major within their college. This past year alone, OSU colleges and departments awarded nearly $11 million dollars in donor-funded scholarships to more than 4,000 students!
The common application to apply for scholarships within the colleges and departments opens November 15 and closes February 15. Be sure to apply early to qualify for any and all scholarships you may be eligible for within your college/department.
Students received nearly $300,000 in financial support from the College of Agricultural Sciences this year, and that’s not including the additional funds our students received from our departments.
The College of Business offers numerous scholarships to new and continuing students.
The College of Earth, Ocean, & Atmospheric Sciences offers a number of scholarships that recognize undergraduates for their accomplishments and achievements. We encourage students to apply to all scholarships for which they meet the criteria.
The College of Education offers scholarships and fellowships to students who have completed a program application and will be admitted by fall term.
As a new first-year students, you are automatically considered for all available scholarships when you complete the scholarship application included with the undergraduate admission materials. All OSU engineering programs offer scholarship support through generous donations from alumni and industry sponsors.
The College of Forestry offers a wide range of scholarships to incoming first-year and transfer students. Through the generosity of our donors, the College of Forestry awards nearly $500,000 in undergraduate scholarships annually. Awards ranging from $1,000 - $9,000.
The College of Public Health and Human Services offers 60+ scholarships that recognize undergraduates enrolled in PHHS majors for their accomplishments and achievements.
The College of Liberal Arts awards many student scholarships each year; scholarships within specific majors within the College are often also available.
The College of Pharmacy offers several scholarships of students admitted to the program as well as opportunities to participate in hands-on research, funded by potential scholarship dollars.
Last year, the College of Science awards more than 275 students totaling $700,000 in scholarships at Oregon State. Scholarships and awards are available for College of Science students thanks to the generous support from alumni and friends of the College. All students are encouraged to apply for scholarships.
The College of Veterinary Medicine offers 100+ scholarships to current DVM students, including a wide range of community-based scholarships.
